I am a BAPT Registered Play Therapist; this includes Creative Art Therapy within my therapeutic practice. I am a Play Therapist, Therapeutic Life Story Work Practitioner and DIRFloortime® Facilitator, founder of Play Refuge and a mum to three children.
As a neurodiverse play therapist (dyslexia) and mother to a diverse child (Autism), I have personal as well as professional understanding of being neurodiverse, supporting and advocating for a neurodiverse child.
Prior to play therapy, I worked for a number of years as an English-as-a-foreign language teacher in the UK and abroad, along with international charity work. I have a particular interest in supporting children and their families who are seeking asylum or refugees.
I love reading world literature, travelling, eating new foods and spending time with my family. Equally, I am happy with a coffee on my own people watching!
